Kraveln (1524)
Kraveln is a ship from the early 16th century, linked to Gustav Vasa's fleet. The wreck lies in the Stockholm archipelago and was documented by Ocean Discovery using ROV and photogrammetry.
The mission aimed to provide an updated record of the wreck's current condition and position. The ROV system enabled inspection in the shallow but current-exposed waters where Kraveln rests. Results are used as material for research into 16th-century shipbuilding and as archive material for museums and archaeologists.
