ROV Inspections

ROV Inspections

Ocean Discovery uses remotely operated vehicles for safe and precise inspections where diving is impractical, inefficient, or too risky. The ROV system provides real-time video, still imagery, sonar, and positioned documentation for ports, bridge foundations, wrecks, and subsea pipelines.

Stable ROV platform for demanding environments

The ROV can maneuver around obstacles, hold a stable position, and work at the right angle to the asset being inspected. This is valuable in currents, around complex structures, and whenever documentation must be repeatable and precise.

Video, still imagery, and 3D-ready data

Multiple cameras provide strong situational awareness and reduce the risk of missing critical details. High-resolution stills can be used for standard inspection and as source material for photogrammetry when the site needs to become a measurable 3D model.

Real-time sonar and positioned reporting

2D real-time sonar gives an overview even in poor visibility and supports navigation, obstacle avoidance, search operations, and safe-distance observation. With underwater positioning, observations, frames, and measurement points can be linked to geographic positions in the report.
