S/S Skytteren Surveyed

S/S Skytteren is a Norwegian cargo ship sunk by a British submarine during World War II. Located northwest of Gothenburg, the wreck is one of the most prominent environmentally hazardous wrecks along the Swedish coast due to its oil cargo.

Ocean Discovery performed a full ROV inspection and 3D documentation of S/S Skytteren. The mission aimed to document the wreck's condition, map potential leakage points, and produce material for authorities and stakeholders. The 3D model enabled virtual walkthroughs and supported further risk assessments without repeated physical dives.
